Based in New York City, flutist Bianca Morris maintains a dynamic freelance career as both a performer and educator. Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in the suburbs of Bear, Delaware, Morris has collaborated with numerous ensembles throughout Delaware and Philadelphia, including The Center City Chamber Orchestra, The Opus One: Berks County Chamber Choir Orchestra, and The Curtis Institute Symphony Orchestra.
In the New York area, she has had the privilege of performing with notable ensembles in the community such as The Brooklyn Symphony, The Chelsea Symphony, The New Conductor’s Orchestra, The Queer Urban Orchestra, The Blue Hill Troupe Orchestra, The Broadway Bach Ensemble, The Narrows Community Theatre, and at The Klavierhaus.
Morris holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Delaware School of Music, where she studied with orchestral and chamber flutist Eileen Grycky of The Opera Philadelphia Orchestra and The Delaware Symphony. She also earned a Master of Music degree from the Boyer College of Music and Dance at Temple University, studying with internationally acclaimed soloist and chamber flutist Mimi Stillman.

Based in New York City, flutist Bianca Morris maintains a dynamic freelance career as both a performer and educator. Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in the suburbs of Bear, Delaware, Morris has collaborated with numerous ensembles throughout Delaware and Philadelphia, including the Center City Chamber Orchestra, Opus One: Berks County Chamber Choir Orchestra, and Curtis Institute Symphony Orchestra.
During her summers, Morris has participated in rewarding festivals such as The Curtis Institute Summerfest Young Artist Summer Program (2020) and The National Music Festival (2022). She has also participated in masterclasses led by accomplished flutists Erica Peel, Natalie Joachim, Paul Edmund Davies, Edward Schultz, Robert Langevin, Bart Feller, Nicola Mazzanti, and more.
Morris began teaching privately in her senior year of High School in 2016 as a part of her senior project, for which she had selected the importance of music education as her project topic. She continued to teach privately throughout obtaining her degrees, as well as holding a Flute Instructor position at “Play on Philly”, a Philadelphia after-school music education program, for the 2021-22 curriculum while completing her Master’s degree at Temple University. Once graduating and relocating to New York City at the end of 2022, Morris has continued to work as a freelance flutist in and around the city, as well as continues to teach private students.
